Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about our tutors, therapists, and learning programs — all in one place.

Education – Tutors

  • What subjects do tutors cover?
  • Do I need a teaching qualification?
  • Can I work part-time or online only?

We offer academic support in English, Math, Science, Arabic, and more — aligned with UAE and international curricula.

Yes. We require our tutors to have formal education-related qualifications or extensive subject-specific teaching experience.

Yes. We welcome flexible arrangements for both online and in-person tutoring roles, depending on your availability.

Inclusion – Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)

  • Do I need SEN experience to become an LSA?
  • Where will I work?
  • What’s a typical day like?

Preferred, but not essential. We offer training in SEN, behaviour management, and inclusion strategies.

Most LSAs are placed within schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other emirates.

You’ll be supporting one or more children in-class, helping with learning, focus, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing.

Wellness – Therapists & Child Counsellors

  • What qualifications are required?
  • Are sessions online or in person?
  • Do you support Arabic-speaking therapists?

You must hold a valid license or registration in child psychology, therapy, or counselling and have experience with children or adolescents.

Most sessions are currently delivered online, though in-person sessions may be arranged in partnership with families.

Yes. We encourage bilingual professionals to apply, especially those fluent in Arabic and English.

At Alamaani, we believe that every child deserves to be educated, included, and emotionally thriving.
